KFHS Yearbook

The 2023 Fairmont yearbooks will be distributed in early August in east unit room 121. * Students, guardians or designated individuals for pick up should bring a photo ID when they come to get their yearbook. There will be a few additional 2023 yearbooks available first come first serve during pick up for $70.

* If you still want to purchase a 2020, 2021, 2022 yearbook, extras are available for $60 cash or check payable to Kettering City Schools. 

Yearbook Distribution will be in East Unit room 121.

* Friends or relatives may pick up yearbooks and should bring their OWN photo ID to sign for the yearbook.

 

 

 

Don’t miss out on getting your picture in the 2024 Firebird Yearbook!

All seniors MUST be photographed by Prestige Portraits (Lifetouch), who will send the images to the Firebird Yearbook Office automatically. Prestige supplies these yearbook headshots regardless of whether or not you purchase portraits from them. The phone number for the Prestige Portraits Senior Picture Office is (937) 299-3723.  Prestige offers affordable headshot rates for Fairmont students. Being photographed at the studio gives students an opportunity to do a simple head-and-shoulders yearbook portrait photo shoot or a more involved package on their own time schedule (when they don’t have to get “fancy” on a school day). Call now to schedule your appointment!

For students who aren’t photographed at the studio, Prestige Portraits will come to Fairmont to photograph all seniors who have not already been photographed by Prestige. Prestige will send photos to the Firebird Yearbook Office automatically.  This on-campus photography is FREE to all Fairmont seniors. Remember, the ONLY way to have your portrait in the 2024 yearbook is if you are photographed by Prestige Portraits. This requirement has been in place since the Class of 2019. Please plan to “dress for success” for your yearbook headshot whether you go to the studio or choose to be photographed at school.

A photographer from Prestige Portraits will be at FHS on Tuesday, October 5, 2023 to photograph any seniors who are not photographed at the studio. Please listen to announcements during advisory for more information!

Remember, all students must be photographed by Prestige by November 2, 2023 (they will be at Fairmont for retakes or if the first date was missed). Be sure to be included in the 2024 Firebird yearbook.

Senior Picture Requirements:

• Our exclusive school photographer is Prestige Portraits. Their senior picture photographers know our requirements. Please tell them that you’re being photographed for the Fairmont High School yearbook!

  • Photos will be vertical and in color.

  • Photos must be taken inside on a basic backdrop.

  • Photos must be formal head-and-shoulders-only. (No “glamour shots” or photos in which you are leaning against a tree, wall, motorcycle, etc.)

  • Hands may not be visible.

  • Students should “dress to impress” in professional, school-appropriate clothes. Shirts, sweaters, or dresses with modest necklines or collared shirts are suggested.

  • Be cautious of strapless tops as the photo may be cropped closer to the neckline than the top.

  • Be cautious of all white or all black backgrounds, especially if your clothes are similar in color to the background.

  • Photos will NOT be accepted from anywhere other than Prestige Portraits. Many seniors choose to be photographed at one of the many other great studios in the area. Families may purchase Senior Spotlight Ads if they wish to include additional photos of their senior taken at other locations and/or by other studios.
